Hawaii and some international destinations including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong require pets to serve a period of quarantine detention after arrival. Other international destinations may not impose quarantine unless your pet has been incorrectly prepared, with preparations starting usually a month prior to travel.
